 NEWS:

We have recently made a major investment in a new CAD software platform by committing all new projects to be developed in Revit Software.  Revit is a state of the art, building information modeling (BIM) program that develops the work fully in a 3 dimensional model.  It allows clients to better understand the design as it evolves and to make more informed decisions.  The software also results in a well coordinated set of documents as all the elements in the model are “linked” in 3 dimensions.  We are able to generate interior perspectives and “fly thru” video of any portion of the design at any time.  The response from our clients has been extremely positive!

 RECENT ASSIGNMENTS:

 National Assignments:

We continue to enjoy many assignments for Sprint with work in 16 states.  Notable recent assignments include the Executive Offices for the Chairman in Reston, VA, an Executive Briefing Center on the Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan and the strategic analysis and planning of Sprint’s 250,000 sf Atlanta Metro facilities.

 LEED Certified Projects:

We are nearing completion of two LEED certified projects.  CB Richard Ellis will soon occupy the second phase of their south east office space which will become one of the first offices in their national portfolio to achieve LEED certification.  Gerald H Phipps has recently occupied their new 40,000 sf headquarters which is also LEED certified.  We applaud the commitment of these clients for their environmental stewardship.

SUMMER TRIP:

The entire office (with spouses, friends, significant others etc.) attended NEOCON last summer.  We closed the office for a few days of fun, camaraderie and education in Chicago.  We took the Amtrak Zephyr (with sleeper cars) and attended seminars, parties, dinners and flew home.  A good time was had by all!  The photo is in the Chicago train station.
