team works in a collaborative studio environment to bring innovative solutions to our clients.
We are currently looking for an Accountant/Office Manager with the skills, ability and character to
contribute to our success.
Experience Skills + Traits for Success
- B.S. or B.A. in Accounting (or equivalent experience) required
- 5+ years of accounting experience preferably within the professional services industry
- Strong project accounting software skills, Deltek Ajera a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (in particular, Excel)
- Able to prioritize, multitask and manage time effectively with little direction or oversight
- Problem Solver
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- Patient, detail orientated and consistently reliable

Primary Responsibilities
Project Accounting
- Maintain client billing files
- Set up new projects based on contract terms
- Project Budgeting & forecasting
- Timesheet and expense report review and processing
- Preparation of monthly client invoices
Accounts Payable
- Code and enter Vendor invoices
- Process Vendor payments
- 1099 Processing
- Credit card reconciliation
Accounts Receivable
- Bank Deposits
- Follow-up on unpaid client invoices
Payroll
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Year end 1099 / W2 processing
- Quarterly and yearend tax filings (940 and 941, CUTA, FUTA and OPT returns)
General Ledger
- Review GL monthly
- Coordinate with outside accounting firm on year end close
Other
- Assist in new hire orientation
- Manage annual employee benefit renewals
- Assist principals with professional paperwork/license renewals
- Order supplies
