Encore! Following the successful completion of a satellite office in Denver, Billtrust re-engaged Acquilano for their Headquarters requirement in New Jersey. The real estate and Acquilano’s design team worked together to identify a second-generation property in close proximity with ample parking suitable for the fin-tech headquarters (with some imagination). The fully remodeled space features an all-hands breakroom, new floor opening and feature stair, fitness center, restroom and shower facilities, and various meeting spaces for large and small groups.

To support the SCRUM workflow process, the development team’s area is outfitted with height adjustable benching stations with an audio-visual equipped teaming table built to accommodate the frequent huddle-ups. All walls are outfitted with writable surfaces for analog communication. Outside each pod, developers can decompress under the open structure, LightArt acoustic fixtures, expressive booths by Naught One and coffee tables from the Knoll Rockwell collection.
Custom perforated, framed, and powder-coated metal screens enhance the experience of the demountable glass office fronts provided by Teknion. Together with the composite wood treatment overhead, the result implies a larger personal footprint and visual interest when looking down the row.
Lite-scaled desking by Teknion provides focused space with height adjustable ergonomics. Specified with a combination of textures, colors, and translucency, the stations are comfortable yet efficient.
Designed to evoke a bit whimsy and playful drama, the asymmetrical breakroom booths features over-scaled pendants by Muuto within the electric orange felt lined enclave. To finish the nooks, an eclectic block print wallcovering was chosen to add graphic interest.
